Shhh, It's a secret!

Life goes on

So we went to the big tournament and we had a blast.

Our kids did well for themselves by digging deep and beating a tough team, tying another team that had beat them badly 3 times already this season and coming in second place.

That may not sound like much to most but to those of us that watched them from the beginning of game 1 back in September right through this mornings game, they came a long way to achieve that.

They are going to play in one more tournament at the end of this month and it just may end up as a high water mark for the season for them.

In the mean time, we are starting to look at tryouts for next year already. Hockey never ends.

The other news was that while we were up at the tournament, I got called for a job. It's temporary (4 to 5 months) but it will pay the bills better than unemployment will.
