Hey Cowboy, are you in show business?
Then get your fwiggin feet off the stage! -- Funniest line evah! Tell me what movie it's from. What made me think of it is that I intend to write that I AM TIRED! If you know the movie and the scene then you know why I thought of the movie and the scene.
I'm tired because it's been a busy and hot Saturday. We did get up late (late at least for us) for a change but we were up and out for breakfast at a local diner at 8:30AM. By 9:30 we had dropped off our son for 2 hours of tutoring in reading comprehension and the wife and I were off to A&P for weekly grocery shopping.
After an hour or so, the store took a sizable piece of our income for a weeks worth of groceries and we had them put away at home. Next stop was to pick up the boy from the tutor.
While waiting for the boy, the wife and I took a look at the inside and outside of the car and decided that a car wash would be the next stop.
By the time all of that was finished, we arrived home at about 12:30PM.
Following lunch (a nice, cool tuna/noodle salad) the three of us headed to our yard for a much needed major manicure of the hedges and lawn.
It was at least 90 degrees and about 40% humidity in the yard and I would have loved to postpone the yard work but the yard was looking more like a wild field then a well kept yard so it had to be done.
With my wife and son's help I finished it by 3:30PM. My clothes were soaked and stuck to my skin and I had finished three large (about 16 oz.) cups of ice water. I peeled off my clothes and jumped in the bath for a cooling and cleansing shower.
Now, I'm just sitting in my blessedly air conditioned living room, watching the Yankee game and the wife is napping on the couch next to me.
Our plans for the evening, besides vegging out, include a barbecue of fresh bratwurst, hot dogs and burgers; a couple of movies from Blockbuster; and maybe some hot summer sex for me and the wife after the boy goes to sleep.
As tired as I am, it has been a pretty good day.
If I could find a different job AND solve my financial issues then I would feel GREAT!

Lily - Yup! It's a great movie. The first place I saw it was a drive-in movie theater that my brother worked at.
