Not so bad.

So the weekend wasn't that bad.

Friday night, the wife and I had a nice session of candles, music and sex. I had intended to take some pics of her (and she was willing) but I was just too lazy to go get the camera. I kind of wish I had since she used her rabbit vibrator and I would have really liked a pic of that action from the right angle. Speaking of action, maybe I'll get some video! Ooh, I have to talk that over with the wife.

We went out for breakfast Saturday morning, dropped the boy off at his tutoring appointment (he needs work with his reading and comprehension) and headed to the supermarket. We finished the grocery shopping just in time to pick him up and head home.

After we put the groceries away and had lunch, we headed to see the new movie "Cars". Not a bad movie. It's a little formulaic and I expect better from Pixar/Disney. I could think of worse ways to spend time on a Saturday afternoon, though.

That evening, we went over to my Mom's to celebrate my older sister's birthday. I think it was almost 10PM when we got home from there.

Sunday morning started a little early as I had to make breakfast and get myself and the boy ready for church (yes, I go to church occasionally). When we got back a little after 9:30AM, I cut the hedges and grass in our jungle of a yard.

The rest of the day was spent battling my allergies. I had a wicked sinus headache which caused me to lay down for a nap in the afternoon. Something has to be wrong for me to lie down for a nap as I don't require naps and I usually feel worse when I wake up from one. I think I napped on and off for about two hours (total sleep time, maybe one hour) and got up in a horrible mood. I was a bit uncommunicative with the wife and just not in the mood for conversation the rest of the day.

For dinner, I made some very nice barbecue pork chops on the grill using a Jack Daniels barbecue sauce we had found while shopping on Saturday. I must say that I really need to replace our grill. We've had it about 9 years now and it's seen better days. The upper grill is rusted so I had to take it out. Also, the burners only work in the middle 2/3's of the cooking area. Fourth of July is coming up and I really want to do some baby back ribs that weekend. I am not sure the grill will be up to 6 hours of slow cooking ribs goodness.

One quick thing... I was surfing the web today and I noted that one of the bloggers I read had a new post (he posts infrequently so it's a surprise when he does post). It was one of the funniest things I have read recently (except for maybe the recent posts from EverythingNice). Take a read of WittAndWisdom, you'll thank me later.

X - I don't really have sex more than you. When you think about it, it's once or twice a week. Considering that it used to be once or twice a month until recently, I'm pretty happy with the frequency.

The wife seems to be more into it now, too. That's really the biggest change.

Did you read that web site I recommended? It's worth the read.

I haven't read it yet sweetie I am trying to get all my regulars read first.

I don't even have sex once a week!
You go!

Soo...you have a gas grill?
I prefer the charcoal grill though yesterday was the first time I ever used lighter fluid. I usually use one of those electric starters.
Well, the trees directly above the patio no longer have and leaves on them.

The wife actually accused me of being a tease! That was a first. Usually, she's the tease.

We have a gas grill. The grilling purists will tell you that grilling with gas is the equivalent of a mortal sin. I am of the opinion that since it makes barbecuing easier and more convenient I'm gonna grill with gas. I wish it was connected to the gas line in the house instead of having to get the propane tank filled two or three times each summer.

"We" used to have a gas grill because the exhole was usually too trashed to light the charcoal but now that I am grilling it's charcoal all the way.
Ever have grilled pizza with grilled veggies and fresh mozarella! YUMMY!

Never had a grilled pizza but I would imagine it's like a pizza from a wood fired brick oven.
