Weekends

I'm beginning to love weekends.

The wife worked on Saturday. But on Sunday, we got up about 8AM and I made pancakes and bacon for breakfast for the three of us. Next on the agenda was a sorely needed lawn manicure for our back yard. It took me about an hour but I got the job done nicely. As I was relaxing and cooling down after the grass cutting, the wife informed me that her parents offered to take our son with them to a barbecue. Oh baby, a day alone for the wife and me!

I took a shower and then the boy left with the inlaws. The wife and I decided to start the afternoon off by seeing a matinee of "The DaVinci Code" and then doing some grocery shopping.

For a quick review of the movie... It was pretty faithful to the book but some key plot points were changed to fit the media. Overall, I'd give it 3 out of 4 stars.
