Pain and Pleasure

Not much to feed to the blogosphere except that I spent the last few days in pain. I wish I could say it was caused by trying a new and challenging sex position but that would be lying. It actually occurred while I changed a tire Monday night. It was odd in that I felt fine during and, for awhile, after changing the tire. About 2 hours later I felt a shooting pain in my lower back when I stood up from my couch. It just got worse every time I moved. I took some Advil, applied Blue Ice ointment and a heating pad and it seemed to abate somewhat. I went to bed feeling pain every time I moved.

The next morning it did not feel as bad. I showered, applied some more Blue Ice, popped more Advil and left for work (I had a very important meeting that I could not miss). I made it to work, got through the meeting and past lunch but the pain just worsened after that (I think my desk chair at work is a torture device). At the end of the day, it was an ordeal to walk to the subway, a block and a half away, down the stairs (three flights of them!) and wait for the train. More pain as I hoofed it off at my stop, up two flights of stairs to the PATH train and endure small stabs of pain as that train lurched and bumped it's way to my next stop. Up one flight of stairs (almost in tears at this point) and then, thankfully, up an escalator to my bus stop. Thank God my bus was waiting and I got a seat.

After dinner, the wife was wonderful to put the Blue Ice on again for me and deeply rubbed it in which seemed to really help. I made a point to sit in a more comfortable and supporting chair (our couch is beat up and in need of replacement) for the evening and diligently popped more Advil every 4 hours or so. Still more pains at bed time but I was able to roll over without gritting my teeth and sucking my breath in.

I woke to the alarm on Wednesday feeling a little less pain but thinking that my back really needed to rest for a day so I stayed home. It was the best thing I could do and I was feeling way better by that evening and almost 100% yesterday.

I'm thinking that my back feels well enough to get busy with the wife tonight.

I did forget to mention a nice fuck session the wife and I had this past Sunday night. It involved candles, massage lotion, a few positions we had not tried in awhile and a couple of giggles.

What I would really like to do is take the wife out to dinner and a movie and see if I could get my hand in her pants during the movie. Unfortunately, we don't have a sitter for the boy and the wife has not let me touch her like that in a movie theater since before we were married.

I've NEVER been touched in a movie theater like that...I can't even remember the last time I went to the movies with a guy that wasn't my brother or gay...

We may actually go see "United 93" tomorrow and I think it would be weird to do that while seeing such an emotional movie.

X, you've led such a sheltered life. If you and I ever go to a movie together I promise to feel you up and get my hands in your pants as soon as the previews are over.
