Busy
I've been very busy at work lately and very busy at home.
On the work front, the first part of my project is almost at it's end. I figure that I will deploy the revised web site by the second or third week of July. The second part of the project is almost ready to get going - full redesign of the look and feel. I need to start that in time to finish and deploy it in the first week of Sept.
At home, I had to buy and install a new network router (I'm in the middle of that - the main computer is done and now I have to connect the other two.) Yesterday, I moved a heavy sofa from my Mom's house to ours. My back is hurting today.
Also, yesterday, my wife was given a full time position with benefits at her job. Yay! That means about $300 to $400 more each pay period. It also means that she's home a lot less so the house cleaning and laundry are getting shoved to the weekends. Yech, for that part!
A little news on the mortgage refinancing... It looks like it won't workout like we would have liked but at least it might lower our interest rate. We are waiting for a determination on that.
Oh, I took one of the naked shots of my wife fingering her self and put it on my cell phone. I find my self viewing three or four times a day for a pick me up. Digital photography is a wonderful thing.
Speaking of my naked wife, I'd love to be naked and fucking her hard right now.

The wife let me take a series of pictures of her last night. I had her first pose sitting on the bed in her nightgown, legs spread, looking at me. Next I had her pose on all fours looking back at me behind her. Then I had her remove the nightgown and assume the same poses again, now only wearing her orange cameron boy short panties. She was smiling and seemed to warm to posing. Next, I kissed her and told her how beautiful she is and had her remove her panties. She seemed to know what I wanted next and she posed sitting on the bed, legs spread with one leg up so I could see her in all her glory. I took her hand, moved it to her pussy and asked her to rub her self. Last shot was her on all fours looking back at me.
After that, I got next to her on the bed and thanked her for letting me shoot the pics. I told her that she is beautiful and kissed her deeply. She told me it excited her to pose for them and indeed when my hand found her crotch she was more wet than usual.
As I fingered her, her hand found my rigid staff and she gave me one of the best hand jobs she has ever done. I did not let her finish me, though. I went down on her and gave her snatch a work over with my tongue and lips.
We ended the session with a straight fuck and we both came hard.
So cool!
One of those days.
I'm having one of those days. You know the kind. For straight men, it's the kind where, if you're married, you think of what you would do to your wife if she was sitting naked on the desk in front of you right at this moment. Spread the legs, part the lips and dive in with tongue ready. For straight women it might be the kind where you think of wrapping your hands around a thick, hard cock and stroking it till it spurts in your mouth/tits/face every time you see an attractive guy - or any guy if you have it really bad.
Yeah, I'm having one of those days.
I've been emailing and texting sexy messages to the wife all day but she appears to be ignoring them.
I wish she would have sent me a new naked picture of herself before she left for work this afternoon. No such luck though.
This might have started because I was on the train last night with this very pretty girl and we both exited at the same stop. She walked up the stairs in front of me and her beautiful hips and ass were RIGHT THERE and it took all I had not to reach out and pull them to my face! But I'm a married man and I behaved myself.
I wanted to attack the wife last night but she was complaining of a head ache and other assorted pains. That usually means sex is out of the question so I left her alone.
I guess my hand and my cock will need to get reacquainted tonight...
Radical
I have some stuff on my mind at the moment...
The refinancing of our mortgage is still there for sure and will be till I have the check in my hot little hands.
The bigger thing on my mind right now is school uniforms.
My son goes to a public grammar school that is about a block and a half from our house. He does very well there , is well behaved and generally likes to go to school. Overall our public school system in town, while far from perfect, is probably one of the top three rated systems in the state. It does have it's problems like lack of funding, older buildings requiring much maintenance, teachers union problems etc. Many schools have these problems. Many others have problems we don't like gangs, out of control students, drugs, violence, low test scores, low graduation rates.
In the last 10 or so years, public school systems have been turning to mandating school uniforms which purportedly help to alleviate some of the larger problems like low test scores, violence, out of control students, gangs and discipline problems. (Please note that the problems I just mentioned are not problems in our school district.)
Our school district has decided to mandate school uniforms for students in our district beginning with the fall 2006 semester without the option for parents to opt-out their children from the program. Now, I can understand, perhaps, maybe instituting school uniforms ALONG with other measures if our district had serious problems with gangs, violence and discipline etc. but why start this if we don't have these problems? There have been numerous studies that show improvements, if any, are not attributable to requiring school uniforms. In effect, they can't be proven to help OR hurt.
Now, I'm far from rich and, in fact, live from paycheck to paycheck most of the time. Requiring me and the rest of the parents in the district that are having a hard time making ends meet be required to spend $140 additionally per student on clothing every time they wear out or grow out of clothes is a real punch in the budgetary gut. $140 might not sound like a ton of money to some people if they think that it's just replacing clothes they would have bought for school already. Ahh but that is not the case, remember, the children still need to wear clothes when they get home from school (they are not going to wear uniforms all day!) so the cost of the uniforms IS IN ADDITION to what we already have to spend on our kids clothes so it's not really replacing clothes - it's adding to the wardrobe.
I have a real problem with this and other ways that the district is implementing this. My wife and I are incensed enough that she went to the school board meeting the other night (along with about 200 other parents) to voice our concerns. The school board voted in favor anyway and just let the parents vent at the meeting and ignored them.
My wife asked that since we will be sending our son to school without a uniform but in nice, new, clean, well fitting clothes in the fall, what would the school administration do with him? The answer was: "We don't know but a letter will be sent home to the parents first and eventually, the child will be suspended." Okay, my wife almost lost it at that point, and was noted in the local paper as saying something like, "My son will not wear a uniform, and you can suspend him, and I will get a lawyer."
We are not alone in this upcomming fight. We are pooling our resources to fight this with my wife's sister (she has 2 kids in the district and the uniform's cost will really hurt them) and trying to get other parents to work together with us. We are going to contact a lawyer who specializes in this type of thing and we are also goign to contact the local ACLU to see if they want in on it.
Are we wrong to be so upset by this? My brother seems to think so. He thinks we should go ahead and buy the uniforms dress the kid in it and be happy about it.
My wife and I are very afraid of how this will affect our somewhat sensitive 9 year old if it gets to the point where the school administration disciplines him and singles him out this coming fall. We don't want to hurt him but we want to stand up for and protect our rights (his too). I intend to explain it to him in great detail and to have him ready to be brave and stand up proudly to the teachers and principal. If one of them berates him or talks down to him in any way I will slap a law suit on them so fast their head will spin like a possessed teenager!

Money, That's What I Want!
A number of things going on in my little insignificant life...
We are refinancing our home mortgage to take advantage of a lower interest rate. It also helps that we'll end up with about $15,000 extra in cash. And that's after we pay off ALL of our credit bills - including our car loan! Come to think of it, we are a little behind on the oil bill from this past winter so paying that should reduce the amount we'll end up with but it'll be way more than $10,000 in the bank to backstop us until I can work out my work situation.
We started the process last week and locked in the interest rate this past Monday. Today, we had to have an appraiser come to the house. I guess once we get through the mountains of paperwork we'll have the check in hand! I will say that with our credit history getting the loan is not a done deal so keep us in your thoughts and wish us luck. We really need this to go through in an expeditious manner.
On a completely different note...
In the United States, today is Flag Day. It's not a day off type holiday for us. It's just a day to remember the meaning and heritage of our flag. I am not a flag burning hippie nor am I a fully zombie patriotic "It's your country, love it or leave it" type. I fall somewhere in the middle. I fully believe that our flag stands for the freedoms we accept and love as a birth right here in the United States. Many men and women have given their lives for those freedoms over the last 230 years and I pay my respect to them every chance I get. So if you are an American by birth or choice take a look at our flag today and remember what it stands for. If you want to burn it, that's OK with me - it's your right - just remember why you have that right and the people that have defended and still defend that right over the years. As a former military man myself, the sight of the "Stars & Bars" flying proudly can and will choke me up as I remember the sacrifices of those before us.
Next,
As you might remember from a few weeks ago, my wife sent me a naked picture of herself to my cell phone (geez, I love the freedoms I have today, you can't do that in a lot of places in this world!). I even took a couple of semi nude photos of her myself.
Today, I was sitting at my desk in work, looking at that pic on my phone and thinking of her. I'm also thinking of taking more nude pics of her. I think I'll have her pose on all fours and take a one of her from behind and slightly off to her side. That sounds really sexy to me. I'd like a close up of her masturbating too! Maybe she'll even let me do some video some day.
Not so bad.
So the weekend wasn't that bad.
Friday night, the wife and I had a nice session of candles, music and sex. I had intended to take some pics of her (and she was willing) but I was just too lazy to go get the camera. I kind of wish I had since she used her rabbit vibrator and I would have really liked a pic of that action from the right angle. Speaking of action, maybe I'll get some video! Ooh, I have to talk that over with the wife.
We went out for breakfast Saturday morning, dropped the boy off at his tutoring appointment (he needs work with his reading and comprehension) and headed to the supermarket. We finished the grocery shopping just in time to pick him up and head home.
After we put the groceries away and had lunch, we headed to see the new movie "Cars". Not a bad movie. It's a little formulaic and I expect better from Pixar/Disney. I could think of worse ways to spend time on a Saturday afternoon, though.
That evening, we went over to my Mom's to celebrate my older sister's birthday. I think it was almost 10PM when we got home from there.
Sunday morning started a little early as I had to make breakfast and get myself and the boy ready for church (yes, I go to church occasionally). When we got back a little after 9:30AM, I cut the hedges and grass in our jungle of a yard.
The rest of the day was spent battling my allergies. I had a wicked sinus headache which caused me to lay down for a nap in the afternoon. Something has to be wrong for me to lie down for a nap as I don't require naps and I usually feel worse when I wake up from one. I think I napped on and off for about two hours (total sleep time, maybe one hour) and got up in a horrible mood. I was a bit uncommunicative with the wife and just not in the mood for conversation the rest of the day.
For dinner, I made some very nice barbecue pork chops on the grill using a Jack Daniels barbecue sauce we had found while shopping on Saturday. I must say that I really need to replace our grill. We've had it about 9 years now and it's seen better days. The upper grill is rusted so I had to take it out. Also, the burners only work in the middle 2/3's of the cooking area. Fourth of July is coming up and I really want to do some baby back ribs that weekend. I am not sure the grill will be up to 6 hours of slow cooking ribs goodness.
One quick thing... I was surfing the web today and I noted that one of the bloggers I read had a new post (he posts infrequently so it's a surprise when he does post). It was one of the funniest things I have read recently (except for maybe the recent posts from EverythingNice). Take a read of
WittAndWisdom, you'll thank me later.
My Life
It's Friday and plans for the weekend have firmed up, fallen through and then firmed up again.
Yeah, like I have really big plans. I am a married father of one pre-teen boy. I have a hefty mortgage and a shit load of bills. About the biggest plans I have this weekend are a movie and McDonalds after...
I suck!
Worry
I’ve been contemplating some personal problems of a primarily financial nature lately. Since I was laid off last year I knew that financial problems could catch up to us pretty fast. And that was even though I got a pretty good severance package when I was laid off.
It took me until December to find a job and the severance package pretty much ran out by October. Because of that, bills piled up and we had to get caught up after I returned to work. Part of the problem is that I took a lower paying job than expected. I did that so that the income would at least be better than just getting unemployment (when the severance ran out, all we had was unemployment which was not even half of what I was bringing home while employed). Now I’m starting to get the itch to find a better paying job while I am employed here (it’s always easier to find a job while you have one then when unemployed).
We are still a bit behind on the mortgage and the oil bill. There are also some credit cards that have a higher balance and minimum payment than I would like. It all weighs heavily on my mind.
I should also say that I am not happy in this job since there are a couple of dynamics (personality conflicts and organizational quirks) that make my job more taxing than it should be. One other thing is that I am getting a vibe that I may be cut loose here in the next 6 months or so. I think there might be a shift in management focus. Also, some decisions I made that upper management may not be comfortable with if/when they come to light and the bills come due could be a problem. It kind of scares me that I might get canned either because of either situation or a combination of the two.
So I worry. A lot! I think that is why I have not had much to say to blog land lately. Maybe now that I’ve talked about it I’ll feel better about it. I mean, my wife and I talk about the money issues and I know she worries about them, too, but I feel like they are all on my shoulders. I know they are not but it still feels that way (particularly if I lose my job).
I'll take this kind of boredom...
Life's been kind of boring lately.
But I'llk take it since the wife and I have been having great sex.
